Outdoor Maternity Images | Gainesville Maternity

I met Brittany for a pre-consult to discuss capturing her baby boy when he arrives.  Of course after meeting her, I hoped she would also want to document her pregnancy.  At the studio she had the option of looking through the maternity wardrobe and trying on a few of the gowns to see if they were something she would enjoy using.  She selected her favorite and shared with me that she would really like to include her fur baby in the images.  Of course the next question is what type of dog or dogs do you have?  Nope, that was the wrong question!  Brittany has a thoroughbred race horse named B.B. that she and her husband Calvin have rescued from the tracks… Well the thought of how gorgeous this moment could be, helped me to answer quickly with, “Yes, Please!”  In scheduling her session, we worked around the consistent rain we have been blessed with, but which also makes all outdoor maternity images hard to plan this summer.

Outdoor Maternity Images Gainesville FLOn our second attempt, we were blessed with a fairly open sky of fluffy clouds after the sprinkling of showers stopped.  The steaminess after a light rain that we normally get even turned into a bit of chill… it was magical… Outdoor Maternity Images Expectant Couple Maternity Gown ideasI would like to introduce to you B.B., a very lucky horse who has been rescued and is very loved.  B.B. was a bit uneasy when the winds picked up and we had lighting occasionally off in the distant sky.  He was a true champ long enough to get these gorgeous images for his mom.
