Lately I have had gorgeous babies coming in and out of the studio…. It is fun to have a run on boys and everything is textured, natural, woodsy or some color of blue (navy is gaining strength with my familes). Then a switch flips and a gaggle of baby girls rush in. The difference is slight…. we still use the neutrals of cream, white, tan or grey, but the nursery colors are almost always ballet pink or antique mauve. Of late I see a trend….. It’s a combo I love! Ballet pink is turning a little stronger and is boarding on a soft peach, mixed with a hue of soft aqua or mint green. The hair bows and lace onsies add just the right hint of feminine to make the difference in a baby girl vs. a baby boy session fun to switch gears and get lost in the planning. When Addison’s mom sent images of her nursery and she had peach and mint through out, I couldn’t wait to use the beautiful items I’ve been gathering for beautiful baby girl images in these colors. Enjoy the soft feminine session….
